Pikes Peak 2014: Dumas, Norma-Honda and LeCont always in pole

Days go by but things do not really change. Romain Dumas with the Norma M20 RD - Honda running with LeCont tyres is always in pole position of the 92nd edition of the famous Pikes Peak.
After having obtained on Wednesday best performance in sector 1, Romain was today (Thursday) putting his effort on sector 2 (tomorrow, Friday, he will run on sector 3), while his most performing competitors, the electric modified cars, were running on sector 1, which will be the only sector valid for final starting order of the race. While Dumas was once more obtaining best performance also in sector 2, the "modified electrics" have not been able to get much close to the result obtained by the French driver on Wednesday. Dumas had, in fact, ran 8 km of sector 1 in 3'37"525, while Thursday Greg Tracy has not gone below 3'48"208. Tracy is, together with Japanese Hiroshi Masuoka (3'51"445), one of the two official Mitsubishi drivers. The Japanese company is racing with two modified electric prototypes, which have incredible horsepower (around 1500 hp). These have not been enough though.
