Martono, Quinn and Novalak shine at the PFI

After the pole position detached from Konsta Lappalainen in front of Presley Martono, Rasmus Lindh took the lead at the end of the qualifying heats, ahead of Clement Novalak, Martono and the Spanish Marta García Lopez. The Indonesian Presley Martono and the Briton Alex Quinn then conquered the top two positions in the prefinal, repeating themselves then in the final, despite the initial domination of Ulysse De Pauw, then overtaken by Quinn. At the end of the day, however, Martono was the fastest and definitely took the lead in the standings with four laps from the checkered flag. Third was the French. Leading the provisional championship standings is still Kenny Roosens, seventh at the PFI and already winner of the first race in Portimão.
